Nike’s Air Max95 – A Buying Review for Sport Shoe Shoppers

Sometimes it isn’t possible to improve on a product, and that is why the Nike Air Max95 had a following from the time it first hit the shelves. In 1995, the Air Max was a colossal hit with runners, and the shoes never lost their appeal. It is only fitting that the same design is used in the Air Max95, and now the many color choices make the shoes wanted by everyone.

Fits Like a Glove

The new version of the old friend has the same shape that forms to the foot, and it features the lace up system that brings the sidewalls in tight and provides excellent all round support. This makes the shoe move along with every movement of the foot and doesn’t allow inside slippage. Sudden cuts, jumps, and stops do little to separate the shoe from the athlete.

Features of the Air Max95

* Molded to the foot, the shoe might be expected to cause sweating and odor, but the mesh upper allows for breathability. The balance for fit and ventilation makes for a great combination.

* The waffle pattern of the rubber outsole is ideal for traction and holds up well.

* Six lace loops per side provide all the control necessary to fit the shoe to the foot.

* The rubber sole is attached to the lower layer of the shoe connecting the 8 air bubbles to the upper.

* The nose of the Air Max95 is either leather or felt material, depending on the style selected.

* The tongue is attached on the interior of both sides of the lower part of the shoe. This makes the shoe wearable without lacing up.

What’s Not to Like

The mesh uppers from the shoe wear very well, but they do wear out under constant use but that’s true with any shoe. The leather uppers might keep going longer than the mesh, but its appearance will certainly degrade rapidly. Creases began to show soon, and while they aren’t detrimental to comfort as well as wear, they do make your shoes look worn. But no shoes will look unworn except they are left inside box or in the closet.

Pricing

Youth running shoes start around $70 and adult styles are generally between $95 and $150. According to many comments made online, there are many fake Air Air Max95 s on places like eBay, so buyers should be wary of extremely low prices.

Checking the reviews by other Nike owners, this shoe rates better than four stars out of five.
