Keyboard: Very well laid out. Spacing involving the keys is correct, and feels very comfortable to type. Comparable to my MacBook Pro keyboard, that I had to switch to Windows for a lot of research work that may only be performed on Windows.

Battery: We are still trying it out but from the looks from it, battery is decent. I think with normal settings for battery and brightness, along with wifi on, browser etc., it lasted for approximately 5 hours!

Design: I’m keen on the no nonsense design of the laptop. The aluminium about the keyboard looks, and above all, feels great. As ASUS advertised rightly, it won’t warm during normal usage as a result of heat from the exhaust. ASUS really have some genuine focus on this laptop’s design unlike some other vendor copying MacBook Pro’s design with all the recessed keyboard large touchpad and everything.

TRACKPAD: Plainly have seen anything compare to MacBook Pro’s trackpad (not touchpad!) than the can it be. With a few tweaks in multi finger settings (inside board) I am enjoying this trackpad so lots! It will 1, 2 and 3 finger gestures such as : Back, forward, scroll, zoom in, zoom out, rotate (pictures etc.) and much of others. Like swiping three fingers up brings up My Computer window, the pretty neat feature.

Screen: As with any windows laptop, you should do a little screen calibration yourself, when you really take care of, and more importantly, should you understand this stuff. Google it and you may determine what it’s, and why it’s important. NOTE: That’s not me in any way saying that the screen looks bad right as is also, Rrt had been GREAT right out of the box, being a videophile I always calibrate displays to ensure they are look the way in which I want.

Bundled softwares: Like most in the windows laptops, this laptop came with ASUS’s non-useful suite of softwares. Fortunately, they may be uninstalled and thrown immediately. ASUS offers 2GB webstorage inside the cloud when you really care make use of it, I love dropbox and so i didn’t set it up.

Graphics performance is AWESOME! It played several 1080p videos without a glitch.

Other considerations to bear in mind: Notebook is pretty beautiful. I say that keeping my mac as well as me. This i7 processor laptop is tremendously useable and ASUS’s attention to input devices, including keyboard and trackpad shows in the manner these items perform, they’re awesome.

This laptop doesn’t attach to any CD or DVD you could to own blank DVDs ready to create recovery disks once you adapt this laptop, you can then work with it if you need to re-install the usa.

Conclusion: We have used a thinkpad and loved it for the rugged performance. Thus, I’d been focused on sturdiness with this laptop. In the limited use i always have done, the building looks sturdy. The hinges work. Heat vents they fit thoughtfully. Overall, this laptop performs inside other areas that concerned me.
